Crowns and Bridges

Taking Care of You

Crowns are fixed over the damaged tooth and provides a strong tooth shaped structure. Crowns can also be used to improve the appearance, shape or alignment of teeth.

Gold crowns are still available upon request, and are often the Gold Standard.

Crowns can be made at a dental laboratory. An appointment is needed to prepare your tooth or teeth, an impression taken that is sent to the lab to be fabricated. A temporary crown is placed and an appointment is made to cement your new crown.

A bridge is a fixed replacement for a missing tooth or teeth. They made by preparing your tooth or teeth, then an impression is taken and sent to the lab to be fabricated. A temporary is placed and an appointment is made to cement your new bridge.

Thanks to modern technology, crowns and bridges can now have natural translucency to provide a more natural looking appearance, which is metal free.
